Synopsis
A darkly comedic intergenerational tale that intertwines the lives of two young women’s search for justice and identity. The story weaves back and forth between 1940s and the present day.
When Yaeli(21), the young and confused cellist, is thrown out of her music studies in Berlin and is left penniless, she turns to her dying grandmother Naomi for help. Naomi(90) offers her a deal - an inheritance in exchange for help solving an 1940s assassination of a German Templar she was involved in. before she dies she have to understand whether she is a hero or a murderer?
Bio
Tamar is a filmmaker based in Tel Aviv, Israel. In 2017 she graduated with Honors from the film program at Minshar School of Art, where she focused on writing and directing. in film school, Tamar directed three short films that were screened at various film festivals worldwide (from the Jerusalem Film Festival in Israel to the Giffoni Film Festival in Italy). Currently, Tamar is working on two feature films: Homeboys (documentary) and Nine Lives (fiction). Tamar also creates music videos for leading Israeli musicians that have received millions of views.
