Tamika Miller is a passionate storyteller who began her career as a line producer and production supervisor for television commercials and high-profile music videos, including major brands such as Samsung, Bank of America, AT&T, Toyota and American Express, and has lent her skills to music videos for artists such as Christina Aguilera.A Director/Writer currently living in Los Angeles, California, Tamika's production experience and tremendous attention to detail has contributed to her success as a filmmaker.
In 2019, SHOOT Magazine chose Tamika as 1 of 32 NEW Directors to watch as part of their annual New Directors Showcase, presented at the Directors Guild of America in New York. Tamika recently directed the TV movie Back to the Goode Life, starring actress Kyla Pratt (Dr. Dolittle, Love & Basketball) and actor London Brown (HBO's Ballers) for Black Entertainment Television (BET), which premiered Spring 2019. And, she is currently developing her much-anticipated feature film UNDERCARD, starring actress/comedienne Wanda Sykes in her first dramatic role. In 2018, Tamika was selected as 1 of 6 directors, from over 400 applicants, to participate in the Commercial Directors Diversity Program - a DGA/AICP initiative created to increase the representation of women and under-represented directors in commercial advertising. Her Amazon "Get Answers NOW" spot from this initiative was the 2018 Award Winner for Best Commercial at the LA Femme Festival.
