Four recent graduates celebrate their final week together before one of the group leaves for London, marking the end of their adolescence in Australian suburbia. They head off on a road trip and all four friends are left with no choice but to face their demons - and each other.
Imogen graduated from the Australian Film Television and Radio School in 2017, receiving the prestigious EU Film Award. SUBURBAN WILDLIFE, Imogen’s debut feature film, was runner-up for the Audience Award at Sydney Film Festival 2019, and she was chosen as the Debut Director for the London Australian Film Festival. Imogen has won Best Australian Music Video for SAVANNAH at the 2019 Clipped Music Video Awards. Her short film ATOMIC LOVE has screened at the 2020 BFI Flare Festival, Edmonton IFF, Encounters FF, and OUTFEST LA. Imogen’s latest web series LOVE BUG, funded by Screen Australia, has over 2.5million views on TikTok. She is directing the highly-anticipated second season of 'Love Songs' on TikTok. In 2017, Imogen was selected for Screen Australia Gender Matters initiative Smart for a Girl and produced her first television pilot ‘The Ground’ with Imogen Banks (Offspring, Puberty Blues) and Alice Bell (The Expatriates, Suburban Mayhem, The Slap). ‘Surprise Party’, a web series anthology created by Imogen, was one of 10 projects shortlisted for the SBS and Screen Australia DIGITAL ORIGINALS workshops 2019/2020. Imogen has made ads for global brands such as Tinder and The Cancer Council. Imogen’s slate of screen projects includes: ‘MASC’, an anthology web series about masculinity which recently received Screen Australia Generate Funding, and feature films in development with Easy Tiger, and Beyond Productions.
