MY BLOODY GALENTINE ponders the question: What sucks more than being single on Valentine’s Day? Being dumped RIGHT before Valentine’s Day… AND on the eve of beginning a new job in another country. Consequently, Jadyn’s first day at Glow Beauty, the renowned skincare company is off to a rough start. When she bursts out in tears during a planning meeting for her boss’ annual Valentine’s Day soiree, her new co-workers Brandi (Cassie Clare) and Alex (Miriam-Teak Lee) help her pull herself together.
Traci Hays is a DGA award-nominated director. Her feature directorial debut, TANGLED was based on the New York Times Best-Seller of the same title and was named a "must-see movie to watch on Valentine's Day" by The Hollywood Reporter.
During her education at Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, Traci developed her directing sensibilities under the mentorship of Martha Coolidge (VALLEY GIRL), Randal Kleiser (GREASE), and John Badham (SHORT CIRCUIT). It was after taking a design class with the late legendary production designer Lawrence Paull (BACK TO THE FUTURE) that she discovered her natural ability as a visual storyteller.
Her visual style is rooted in over a decade of production design experience working on features such as A LITTLE WHITE LIE starring Michael Shannon and Kate Hudson and the Emmy-nominated television series DARK/WEB (Amazon Studios).
As a director, Traci helmed FREDERICK starring James Morrison (Fox’s 24) which premiered at Dances With Films and won 20 awards including Best Director at the LA Film Awards and Best Picture at the NYC Film Awards. Traci’s short, 40ISH, has garnered 10 awards including Best Director and Best Short at the International New York Film Festival and showcased at the Short Film Corner at the Cannes Film Fest.
