This documentary is about women and grief. They share their stories of losing their mothers from Covid-19, their last moments and how the pandemic has changed their lives forever. Also, an in-depth interview with a licensed therapist and life coach.
Bridgett Ladd is a filmmaker residing from Atlanta, Georgia. She’s been writing screenplays and shorts for several years. Her short, Wounded Hearts won “Best Screenplay at the TPN film festival in 2016. Her SAG/AFTRA short film “The Other Man” which was an official selection in 2018 at Pan African film festival, Baltimore, Twin Cities and Charlotte film festival and is now streaming on Genre TV.
She produced and directed her first feature documentary in 2021, "Motherless Daughters" which is now streaming on Tubi. She has two shorts in the film festival circuit in 2023, a short about Mental Health, Scars Beneath and a period piece, Watch Night Watch Out.
Her life purpose mission statement: I am a person of purpose here to inspire women in overcoming adversity.
