After dropping out of Juilliard, Vicki drifts aimlessly between her family's house in Connecticut and an itinerant existence in New York. When her father suffers a debilitating stroke, she has to become his primary caretaker. Vicki resists connecting with him and making peace with herself, but she ends up finding a way forward thanks to a new friend and a life-changing event.
Victoria Negri is an award-winning writer/director/producer/actress. Her feature directorial debut, Gold Star, which she wrote, directed, produced, and starred in, alongside Oscar nominated actor Robert Vaughn in his last on-screen performance will see a November 2017 theatrical and VOD release. The film won the Audience Award at the Buffalo International Film Festival and Blue Whiskey Film Festival (Chicago), Best Feature Film at the Art of Brooklyn Film Festival, Victoria won the Lisa Blount Memorial Award for Acting at the Oxford Film Festival and Catherine Curtin won Best Supporting Actress at Blue Whiskey. Gold Star was selected by incubator Big Vision Empty Wallet as an Inaugural Kickstart Diversity Film. Additionally, Victoria has directed and produced numerous short films, music videos and webseries featured at festivals around the world, including, the Lower East Side Film Festival, Nashville Film Festival, Cleveland Film Festival, Nitehawk Shorts Festival, and many more. She’s acted in award-winning features, shorts and webseries featured at: Cinequest Film Festival, Clermont-Ferrand, Tribeca and more.
