Fourteen-year-old Henrietta - Henri for short - longs for everything she doesn't have. Looking down a road that turns bad instead of right, Henri (Addie Land) and her mother Kate (Cara Seymour) are forced to move in with her grandmother.
Enid Zentelis is an award winning feature director, screenwriter, producer and author. Nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance Film Festival, and awards at New York Film Festival, Tribeca, Seattle, Sao Paolo, Torino, Stockholm and winner of Best Director prize at Sonoma FF. Features include, EVERGREEN starring Cara Seymour(ADAPTATION, AN EDUCATION), Mary Kay Place(BIG LOVE, GETTING ON), Lynn Cohen, Noah Fleiss and Gary Farmer(DEAD MAN) and received critical acclaim when a first-of-its-kind deal was made with AMC Theaters. Micro-budget feature, BOTTLED UP, was written, directed and produced by Olympus Pictures (RABBIT HOLE, BEGINNERS). It was picked up and released worldwide after premiering at Tribeca FF, and stars Oscar winner, Melissa Leo(THE FIGHTER), Marin Ireland and Josh Hamilton. Enid has directed commercials and short music documentaries across the US and in Europe for major studios and independent production companies including The Clinton Foundation, Warner Records and Universal, including films on legend Eric Clapton and acclaimed band WILCO. Zentelis is a fellow of the Sundance Institute, a NBC-Universal Directing Fellow, a graduate of Hampshire College and The Graduate Film Program at NYU.
