A young woman grapples with physical and spiritual discord after her mother's cancer returns, forcing the daughter to confront past grievances and threatening the only existence she's ever known. Told from the perspective of a young adult caregiver, the story weaves the fantastical and the absurd to portray the complexities of cancer and the joys and sorrows of one family's tender life together.
