Stephanie Turner

Stephanie Turner is a writer/director/actor whose debut feature film “Justine” was acquired by Ava DuVernay’s company ARRAY and will premiere on Netflix on March 13th. “Justine” made its festival premiere at the Newport Beach Film Festival in May 2019 and went on to screen at American Black Film Festival, Edinburgh International Film Festival, Heartland International Film Festival and Napa Valley Film Festival. Stephanie has been a working actress living in Los Angeles for the past 15 years. Her big break came working opposite Jane Fonda in the hit comedy “Monster in Law”. She was the lead in the short film “Surrogate”, which she produced with Damien Chazelle (“La La Land”). She recently had a supporting role in Damien Chazelle’s “First Man” for Universal Pictures and has appeared in several television and film projects including: FOX’s Bones, the FX series DIRT, CSI-NY, and the CBS series Scorpion. Stephanie is the daughter of longtime NFL coach Norv Turner and grew up all over the United States. She moved back to Los Angeles at 17 to pursue a career in acting and filmmaking. She attended the Joanne Baron/D.W. Brown Acting Studio to study the Meisner technique of acting, as well as The Howard Fine Acting Studio. She is a mother of two and resides in Los Angeles.
