Nikki Braendlin

Writer/Director Nikki Braendlin’s first film, the feature dramedy AS HIGH AS THE SKY, was distributed by Cinema Libre Studios after garnering multiple awards and strong reviews. She is currently in development on another feature, BALLOONS, with Lisa Barrett McGuire producing and Karen Tenkhoff as EP. Past writing projects include adapting the NYTimes best-selling memoir FAST GIRL for Eleonore Dailly (I AM NOT AN EASY MAN) and Amy Smart (THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT, “Stargirl") and developing “Sundown,” a one-hour drama about the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Intelligence Project to which Zoe Saldana’s production company Cinestar was attached. Nikki served three terms on the Board of Directors for Alliance of Women Directors (AWD), a nonprofit dedicated to increasing the number of women and nonbinary directors working in the entertainment industry. She was their interim Executive Director and currently serves as their Operations Coordinator.
