Synopsis

In Crown Heights, Brooklyn, the epicenter of the Chabad Hasidic movement, Zelda Wigs is the go-to destination for fashionable women who follow Jewish modesty laws by covering their hair. But after owner Zelda Volkov gets divorced, she begins to resent the practice of wig-wearing and sees it less as a beautiful commandment and more as a lie sold to women.
