ALCHEMY OF SOLITUDE is a film that delves into the autopsy of an activist and the soul of war and its emotional traumas & truths that must be constantly navigated.
With the plague of unrest that has been erupting in the world today, this story grants us an "alternative reality".
One where we explore the plight of radical change through the lens of a fictional organization called, "Paradigm"; whose mission is to eradicate supremacist organizations to bring about change by any means necessary. Soon they realize, they stepped into a bigger battle than they were ever prepared for.
This ensemble action drama takes a sharp turn when an assassination against the biggest supremacist organization is botched; setting off a chain of events that force them into a fight of their lives. How far will you go for radical change?
Bio
Viktoria I.V. King is an acclaimed Award-Winning Multi-Ethnic Director, Writer and Producer known for her boundary-pushing artistry. She was a finalist for the 2019 ABC Discovers Showcase. Her films have been selected in over 50 International film festivals with over 20 awards being singled out as Best Director. She is the President & CEO of Golden Royal Lion Films, LLC; a production company dedicated to bold & radical visual storytelling through film and events wrapped in narratives that expose hidden truths within society. She is also a Board Member of the PANO Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to championing, uplifting and building community for female & non-binary filmmakers nationally.
Projects that she has also worked on as a Producer or 1st AD, etc... have premiered at notable film festivals such as Tribeca Film Festival (winning Audience Award), Pan African Film Festival, Asian American Film Festival, Cinequest Film & VR Film Festival, LA Short International Film Festival, etc.. to name a few.
Viktoria's bold cinematic eye and pulse on emotional authenticity is greatly influenced by her international cultural background and her experiences as a world traveler. As a largely visual director, she focuses on narratives that tell the traumas and joys of connection through the lens of truth and social justice.
She's served as a jury member for both NYFA's NYC Women's Fund for Media, Music and Theatre and the Women's Voices Now Film Festival.
