Synopsis
Teri and George are a happily married couple expecting their first child. Happy, that is, except that Teri is estranged from her elderly mother, Josephine. When Teri receives a random text from an OnlyFans Cam Girl named Maya (claiming to be Josephine’s Airbnb tenant) she believes it’s either spam… or a scammer. But it’s Josephine who’s actually getting hustled . She has already fallen prey to a romance scam — going as far as attempting to wire $100K to “Dr. Stanley,” who she has been having an online romance with. The mastermind behind this scheme is a Teaneck, NJ crime family led by Karen, an elderly woman herself — and her son Eugene, masquerading as the doctor. Now Josephine has disappeared in Atlantic City to meet him, causing Teri and George to drive down from their Hoboken haven to the Jersey Shore. Together with Maya, they piece together the mystery of what has happened to Josephine.
Throughout the JERSEY DEVILS series, this unlikely trio attempts to save Josephine from losing her life savings — while also repairing the mother-daughter bond that needs saving, too.
