Johanna Jurgens is a multilingual actress and writer whose journey through diverse cultures has shaped her storytelling and deepened her connection to the art of performance. Her love for theatre first blossomed during her teenage years in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she performed with the renowned theatre group Os Cara de Palco, further solidifying her passion for the stage. Later immersing herself in the vibrant arts scene of Berlin, Germany, broadening her creative horizon.
Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, Johanna uses language as a bridge to connect with a wide range of individuals, believing in its power to transcend cultural boundaries and foster meaningful relationships.
Her multidisciplinary education spans Psychology, International Relations, History, and Theatre, culminating in a two-year conservatory program at the renowned William Esper Studio in New York City. In addition to her work on stage, Johanna is a writer, drawing on her global experiences to explore themes of immigration, mental health and social justice.
With a passion for the arts and a commitment to collaboration, she is now looking to expand her career into directing, where she can continue to tell the stories she is so passionate about.
