Synopsis

Bio

Emmy-nominated Director, Jade Jenise Dixon, made her breakthrough in episodic television after successfully completing the Disney Directing Program. In 2022, she directed her first episode of TV for the popular show "Raven's Home," which earned her an Emmy nomination. Jade also directed two episodes of the captivating urban drama "Kold x Windy," which aired on AMC Networks in February 2023. In October 2023, Jade was selected for the 2023-24 Directors Guild of America (DGA) Women's Steering Committee Squad Mentorship Program- a program designed to "advance the professional careers of its members..." In 2024, Jade was asked back to direct the first 3 episodes of AMC’s Kold x Windy. Jade has also explored her passion for storytelling by writing and directing her own independent film projects. Among her notable works are the feature films "TRUTH HALL," which received acclaim and the award-winning, "Dog Park.” Jade's exceptional talent was recognized with an award for her short film, "Sunrise." She also directed a spec pilot based on her feature film, "TRUTH HALL," showcasing her versatility as a director. Hailing originally from Omaha, NE, Jade spent her formative years in Atlanta, GA, where she attended Northside High School of the Performing Arts. It was during this time that her passion for directing flourished, as she directed a production of "For Colored Girls..." while still in high school. Pursuing her artistic aspirations, Jade enrolled as a Theater Arts major at th
