Synopsis

What do the voices tell, i ask her. They don’t tell me anything, she says. But they harass me; can't cope up with them. Richa hears voices, gets hallucinations since the past 32 years. Science calls this a debilitating mental illness- Schizhophrenia- that science doesnot fully undestand, even after 100 years! I catch them on the day when Richa, in her 40's has to get ready to go to the psychiatrist- Father, Amrit almost 85 year old, with a hunched back wakes her up, makes tea for her. Like a dutiful mother, he prepares breakfast, for her; Instructs her to sit properly on the table, like she was a 6 year old child, getting ready to go to school. He caters to her smallest needs including -orange ice-creams, orange juices and orange clothes because orange is her favourite colour! Richa is like a child totally dependent on her father - who she lovingly calls dada - after dad. Father is worried about who would take care of her after he is gone. Richa is worried about something happenning to her father. The two look for answers to a life that has passed by- Father wonders why this mental illness happenned to his child; Richa wants to get free of this illness after 32 years!!
