Bio

Multiple award-winning filmmaker Dawn Scibilia was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and is a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Her debut documentary, HOME won critical acclaim and earned an Emmy Award and two Emmy Award nominations. Dawn co-produced, directed, photographed and edited the documentary with Susan Sarandon, Woody Allen, Liam Neeson, Pete Hamill, Fran Lebowitz along with a host of notable New Yorkers. Previously Dawn produced, directed and edited short films and directed off Broadway theatre, including Noel Coward’s HAY FEVER.
