Synopsis

Told from the perspective of an unseen documentary team, this series follows a diverse group of neighbors within the Coral Cove 55+ living community in Naples, Florida. One of the most relatable characters is Jen Hartley (56), a newly divorced woman who’s eager to reclaim her life after devoting thirty-six years to a tumultuous marriage. Jen must rediscover what it means to be single in an app-dominated society while integrating into a community that’s stuck a few decades in the past. On one side of her newly-renovated double-wide is her conspiracy theorist neighbor Fresh (77) and his much younger boo Jazmine (50), while on the other side lives Captain Jack, (73) a navy vet with one leg. Directly across the street is Terri (66), a spiritual biker babe and her “friend” Sherry (69), who runs the community’s underground poker ring. But Jen quickly learns that the community members all have one thing in common: concern of who will take over the park when Don, the 94 year-old park owner, bites the dust. Will it be Bennett (38), Don’s boisterous influencer son who’s found fame through pranking the 55+ community on YouTube? Or, will it be Linda Lawson (72) the community “Karen” and head of the HOA board? The biggest threat might be Majestic Living - a large enterprise who’s offered to buy out the entire property so it can rebuild a completely new and very expensive community in its place. Knowing this is all out of her control, Jen aims to focus on herself but she quickly learns there’s very little privacy in this tight knit community and the only person who offers any semblance of sanity is Neel, the park’s charming handy-man. It’s clear to the audience he’s perfect for Jen but a relationship is the last thing Jen is looking for… oh, and Neel is engaged.
